莰烯酯化制乙酸异龙脑酯催化剂失活机理及再生方法的研究

The Deactivation Mechanism and Regeneration Methods of Resin Catalyst for the Esterification of Camphene

摘要: 通过BET、FT-IR、元素分析、SEM、N2低温吸附、离子交换容量测定等表征手段对莰烯酯化制备乙酸异龙脑酯固定床催化剂(CT800)失活机理及再生方法进行了研究。结果表明,催化剂活性降低的主要原因是反应过程中生成的聚合物对催化剂活性中心的覆盖造成的。通过乙醇浸取的方法对失活催化剂再生后,其酯化反应的活性接近新鲜催化剂水平,是一种较好的再生手段。

Abstract: Cation exchange resin as catalyst for the preparation of isobornyl acetate by the esterification of camphene is widely used in industry. However this type of catalyst is easy to lose its activity during the reaction. In this paper, the deactivation mechanism and regeneration method of the catalyst (CT800) were investigated. It showed that the deactivation of catalyst was mainly caused by the overlay of polymer byproducts on the resin activity centers. The deactivated catalyst can be regenerated by washing with ethanol. The activity of the regenerated catalyst is close to that of fresh one. This proves that this generation method is effective.
