基于松香基的交联单体及甲基丙烯酸甲酯共聚物的制备与性能研究

Study on Preparation and Properties of Copolymer from Rosin-based Crosslinking Monomer and Methyl Methacrylate

摘要: 通过松香与丙烯酸的Diels-Alder加成反应制备了丙烯酸松香(AR),再对其进行酰氯化和酯化反应成功制备了丙烯酸松香(丙烯酸-2-羟基乙基酯)酯(ARA),采用气-质联用分析技术分析了上述物质的组成与含量.通过细乳液聚合方式制备了ARA与甲基丙烯酸甲酯(MMA)的共聚物,采用凝胶渗透色谱、差示扫描量热、热重分析、溶剂抽提等手段考察了共聚物的物理性能并将其与MMA的均聚物和共聚物的性能进行了对比.实验结果表明:ARA主要由海松酸、脱氢枞酸、枞酸和丙烯海松酸的二种异构体的丙烯酸-2-羟基乙基酯的酯化产物组成,ARA是一种良好的交联剂,可与大多数乙烯基单体共聚合,其与MMA的共聚物的耐溶剂性和耐热性均得到了较大幅度的提高.ARA与MMA共聚合物不溶于丙酮,在丙酮中抽提流失率为7.5%,热失重(TG)曲线整体向高温方向偏移.

Abstract: Acrylic rosin acid (2-hydroxyethyl acrylate) ester (ARA) was synthesized by acyl chlorination and esterification of acrylic rosin acid, which was prepared by Diels-Alder addition of rosin with acrylic acid. The composition and contents of the ester were analyzed by GC-MS. Then the copolymer of ARA and methyl methacrylate (MMA) was made by miniemulsion polymerization. Physical properties of the copolymer were characterized by means of GPC, DSC, TGA and solvent extraction. Meanwhile the comparison of properties had been done among the copolymer, MMA homopolymer and MMA copolymer. It was found that ARA was composed of esterification products of (2-HEA)-ester with pimaric acid, dehydroabietic acid, abietic acid and two isomers of acrylpimaric acid. ARA is a good crosslinking agent which can copolymerize with most vinyl monomers. The properties of solvent-resistance and heat resistance of the copolymer were improved considerably by the use of ARA. The copolymer of ARA and MMA is insoluble in acetone whose loss rate is 7.5% during acetone extraction. The TG curves is moved as a whole along the direction of high temperature.
