Abstract

Abstract: Ionic liquids are defined as organic salts that melt below about100℃. Application of ionic liquids in chemistry and industry of forest products has provided a new platform for "green" comprehensive utilization of forest resources and development of forest products. In this paper, applications of ionic liquids in chemistry and industry of forest products were reviewed. The existed problems and future prospects of application of ionic liquids in green comprehensive utilization of forest resources and development of forest products were discussed.
