Abstract: This paper reviews the sources of laccase, including animal, microorganisms and plants especially those originated from Rhus vernicifera trees and other related plants in China, the stabilization and immobilization of enzymes, its green chemical applications on bioremediation, lignin biodegradation/biosynthesis and other various aspects.
