Abstract: The technology of extracting waxberry pin oil was investigated using supercritical carbon dioxide . The influence of extracting factors on extraction effect was studied using orthogonal test table L9(34). The fatty acid component of waxberry pip oil was determined by GC-MS. The study indicates that the quality of waxberry pip oil by supercritical carbon dioxide extraction (SCDE) is better than other methods, The optimum extraction yield of waxberry pip oil is 33.52% at extracting pressure 35 MPa, extracting temperature 50℃, extracting time 60 min, carbon dioxide flow rate 30 L/h, and separation temperature 30℃. The content of unsaturated fatty acid is more than 83%, mainly composed of oleic acid and linoleic acid. It is a sort of hygienical oil with high quality.
