Abstract: Extraction technology of quercetin and kaempferol from leaves of Acer truncatum Bunge was optimized. The effect of factors on extractive yield was studied using orthogonal experiment to investigate the ratio of material to liquid, the time of extraction and the times of extraction. The optimized conditions were:ratio of water to material 20:1, two times of extraction and each 3h. Under the optimized experiment conditions, extractive yield was 1.02%, the content of kaempferol in the product was 50.4mg/g with relative standard deviation(RSD) of 2.2%, and the content of quercetin was 48.2mg/g with the RSD of 1.6%. These two active components in sample can be extracted efficiently by using this technology which was economical and environmental-friendly.
